We started with the usual superb opener (pdf). I then returned your assessments - you know what to do if you need to re-assess.

Today's lesson (pdf) was to gather data on release height versus bounce height on various balls, graph it, come up with a line of best fit, and write an equation we could use to predict bounce height given a drop height, or vice versa.

Your homework for Monday is:
  1.  Finish the last few steps of the lesson (pdf).

  2. Complete the Slope/Rate of Change online pre-assessment. You should know what to do now with this, so I'm going to stop telling you each time.

  3. Watch the Graphing Linear Equations by Using the Slope-Intercept Form video. You should know what to do with this by now so I'm going to stop telling you each time.
