Homework for tonight:
- Do Step 3 of the lesson (the graph). Use 500,000 for the scale for your x-axis (population) and 2,000 for the scale for your y-axis (prisoners). Please make sure to leave space (at least 3 cm) below your x-axis and to the left of your y-axis on your graph paper (eventually the box-and-whiskers will go there). Please do not go beyond Step 3 - we'll continue in class tomorrow.
- Complete the Writing Linear Equations in Standard Form online pre-assessment. Make sure to write down how you did on your student checklist.
- Practice a few problems involving fractions (adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing). You can find some in your textbook, or here.
