Today was our Skype session with Professor Garibaldi. You guys did a nice job.

We then spent the remainder of class talking about ways to be successful in this class - and beyond.

Tonight's homework is:

1. Don't forget we have MAP testing tomorrow. Please report directly to the media center computer lab.
   
   
2. Please complete these problems (pdf) in your notebook by Friday.
   
   
3. Please begin working on your first reflection and goal setting assignment.
   
   a) Login to LPS Google Apps
   
   b) Most of you should see this:
   
   
   
   
   
   Click on the link lpsk12.org Docs. If you don't see that screen, it might be the first time you've logged in, so instead look for the documents link across the top.
   
   c) You most likely will see a file titled "yourlastname Reflection #1 and Goal Setting." right there under "All Items." Click on it to open it.
   
   If you don't, then on the left side, navigate to Folders Shared with Me, click the triangle in front of it to open it up, and then click on the one titled Algebra-Fisch-yourname to open it.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   d) Inside that folder you should find a document titled, "yourlastname Reflection #1 and Goal Setting." Click on it to open it.
   
   e) Read the prompt. Begin writing your response to the prompt right there in the document. This is due no later than noon on Monday, September 6th. (Yes, I know we don't have school that day, it's still due, although you can finish it before that if you wish.
   
   If you can't get into Google Apps, then please come see me as soon as possible and definitely before the weekend.
